Professional Life
Hello! I’m Tom Myers – and for the last 20+ years, I’ve been obsessed with all things FinTech (especially data), and helping small businesses grow.
In 2016, I founded DIH Solutions, where I’ve focused my time on helping institutional participants in the capital markets find the data they need to make better investment decisions. While at DIH, my biggest accomplishment has been building a profitable business, which provides a wide range of data solutions to firms around the world.
Prior to starting DIH, I was first an employee and then a co-owner of Tick Data, where I spent 8 years building its historical data business. In 2015, my partners and I had a successful exit with the sale of Tick Data.
In 2004, I founded V2R Ventures to help entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. As an angel investing company, V2R assists start-ups and small businesses with seed capital, business development, and mentoring.
I also co-founded Transcend Capital in 2002 and helped grow its equity derivatives business before a successful exit in 2003.
Besides my for-profit ventures, I am the Executive Director of Small Acts Of Kindness, a non-profit that works to deliver assistance to people in need by working with organizations in the community.
